I would love to know how a vase of such significance ended up in the attic of a modest bungalow in Pinner? I bet the brother and sister were chuffed, not to mention the auction house which does not usually deal with such valuable artefacts, I loved the interview with the auctioneer, he was so excited at the final bid, he smashed his gavel!
