Take Ivy - Don't Date Ivy

Another amusing post from Dealbreaker.com
about a dating site that connects Harvard  B School boys with non Harvard babes
Have Women Pay To Worship Your Harvard Business School Educated Ass
The new dating site matches males who have Harvard MBAs with discerning females who do not. The best part, if you’re a cheap bastard and/or really taken by yourself, is that all the men have to do is sign up, free of charge, and the chicks have to pay for the honor of possibly dating you.

Dealbreaker's sister site Above The Law had this post about DateHarvardSQ
Date Harvard Men Without Streetwalking Down Mass Ave
You know the old joke: How many Harvard men does it take to screw in a light bulb? Just one; he holds the bulb in place while the world revolves around him.

Now there’s a dating site dedicated to bringing the Crimson and their sycophants together. As they say in Wicked, “they deserve each other.”
Some of them think that just by dint of having gone to Harvard, people will love them, respect them, and shower them with jobs and money. They even make up special phrases for mentioning where they go/went to school, like “dropping the H-Bomb.”  Good God, get over yourselves.

As Bess pointed out, the beauty of the site is that women have to pay — and, one would hope, engage in some sort of oil-enhanced wrestling match — for the opportunity to even send an email to Harvard guys. That’s right, throughout mammalian evolution, the males have battled for the right to access females; but I guess once you go to Harvard, you can tell Darwin to suck on your prestige.

The BHB take on all this
Leave the effete Harvard boys to their sycophants and stick with Stanford men!

May-December - It Will Either Kill You Or Make You Live Longer

Men Married To Younger Women Live Longer

Many of my readers are looking for any edge they can find to extend their lives. They are willing to embrace scientific research results that suggest that a dietary practice or lifestyle choice will help them live long enough to still be around when rejuvenation therapies hit the market. I share this desire. With this thought in mind I have a tip for the guys:
Danish men who marry women much younger than them live longer.
According to the research, if a man marries a woman 15 and 17 years his junior, his chances of dying early are cut by one fifth. Also, it suggests that men cut the risk of premature death by 11 percent if their wives are seven to nine years younger.
Another aspect highlighted by the study was that men who opted for older wives have an 11 percent higher chance of dying earlier.
Now, it could be that guys who do not age as fast are more attractive in their 40s and 50s than guys who age more rapidly. So they have an advantage over more rapidly aging guys when pursuing younger women. Then they also live longer for the same reason they were able to get the young woman. But some readers might want to play it safe and marry a younger woman just on the chance this might help. Maybe she'll care for you with more energy in your old age. Or maybe you'll just find more reason to live looking at a young hottie.
The study used a pretty big cohort of people.
The study, which covered the entire population of Denmark, tracked all deaths between 1990 and 2005.
I hear Randy Newman singing
"You give me reason to live".

So for men seeking younger women (sugar babes) they can always try the online dating site
Sugardaddie.com

Being contrarian in all things I can attest to the fact that my marriage was the exception to this study since I was 22 years younger than my husband and he died at the age of 56.

So now what I want to know is
where's the study on older women marrying younger men and longevity?

Everyday Entitlement

On the topic the entitlement mentality that is pervasive in our culture.
From The Smoking Gun

A McNuggets "Emergency"
Floridian called 911 three times over McDonald's chicken shortage
MARCH 3--Angered that her local McDonald's was out of Chicken McNuggets, a Florida woman called 911 three times to report the fast food "emergency." Latreasa Goodman, 27, last Saturday called police to complain that a cashier--citing a McDonald's all sales are final policy--would not give her a refund. [To listen to Goodman's 911 calls, click
here, here, and here.] When cops responded to the restaurant, Goodman told them, "This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one." Goodman noted, "I called 911 because I couldn't get a refund, and I wanted my McNuggets," according to the below Fort Pierce Police Department report. That logic, however, did not keep cops from citing Goodman for misusing the 911 system. Even after being issued a misdemeanor citation, Goodman contended, "this is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency." The McDonald's devotee is seen at right in a mug shot snapped after a previous encounter with police. Last month, a Florida man was arrested after he called 911 to complain about his displeasure with a Burger King combo meal.

True, the lady was totally ripped off so she got pissed off...but couldn't she have complained to the manager...or to the corporate office?

Obviously not
"this is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency."
Just another economic illiterate feeling that she is entitled to waste police time and taxpayer money.
