That word sounds to me like a civilization of cunning Frenchmen who speak with sneering accents as they peer down their long aquiline noses?

To me it sounds like a term used to describe words...(e.g. homonym, synonym).
Quelymns: when idiot advertising copy writers add an é to the end of an English word to make it seem French.
