Moving On Now

OK...moving on now...is mercury finally out of retrograde?

Look what came in the mail this week
and it couldn't have come at a better time

With all the news about the Royal Wedding we are seeing a trend towards sapphires.  Certainly the royal engagement ring was classic, beautiful and fashionably safe.
But being a little irreverent myself, sometimes I like to see the traditional turned on edge like with this vintage sapphire and diamond cocktail ring which is one of my favorites.  I like the bold Modernist design.

I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to the royal wedding although I won't be staying up all night to watch it.  Thank god for Tivo!

Hello Belle:
Shades of Sapphire are all well and good....if worn by others. As for the jewellery....yes, please!

Is there a wedding somewhere?

Belle

Wedding excitement is at fever pitch here in Australia. If we're not hosting wedding themed house parties, we're having special dinners involving bubbly, tea and scones.

To keep the menfolk interested, our national betting agencies are in on the act and business is brisk.

Hope you are feeling better. And I wish I had a spare 6 grand for that ring, I love it.

I am totally looking forward to the Royal Wedding! Have you picked a channel to Tivo yet? I'm going with KCET because they will be using the BBC's coverage.

I love the ring, what a great design.

I'm really looking forward to the wedding too. I hope Sarah Burton at McQueen does the dress, that would be much more interesting.

I'm Tweeting it live for LOVE. Having a very small soiree at mine, should be fun! xx
