So for those who feel that it is about time for the United States to become more like Europe...here's evidence of that happening now.

We now have more people employed in government than in manufacturing.
Perhaps we will soon be something more like France where approximately one in every four people work for the Government or for a Government controlled business.Vive Les Impôts!!!

That's not as much because goverment jobs have increased as due to the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs. If you compare all government jobs to *private sector* jobs, there's no contest.
It's true that outsourcing has decreased manufacturing jobs...but you can't outsource construction. An electrician in India cannot wire your house.
Also, the number of government employees has increased substantially.
