If bright colors aren't your style, here's a simple little 1950's vintage dress with a new look silhouette from Vintage Vixens. I love the feather like leaf detail in the design. I'd wear it with a little gold bag also from Vintage Vixen.
To brighten up the look I'd add something sweet and simple from Beladora.com. A citrine ring in 18k with a lacy feather design and little citrine dangle earrings also in 18k.
