Seeing The City From The 70th Story

OK, so every once in a while there is a welcomed alteration in my Vegas routine.
Last night I was invited to a soiree in one of those uber swanky suites with the wraparound terrace on the 70th floor of the new Cosmopolitan Hotel.
I didn't even know that there were buildings that high in Las Vegas
It was pretty impressive.

There is no question that the view was superior
but I was also duly impressed with the fur lined hammock in suite's living room
You know a giant jacuzzi for 8 is one thing, but a fur lined hammock...
Really, how many hotel rooms do you know that have one?

After a quick stop at the party it was off to dinner at Joel Robuchon which I will write about in another post.

Bright Lights, Big City.
Oh I am such a city girl and this makes me feel so exhilarated

Am just heading off on my birthday trip from hubs.
Have the date for the Bel Air opening, am already hen pecking about that. Have been told to enjoy this trip first.
Will work behind the scenes and we shall meet for cocktails!
And no, never ever heard of a fur lined hammock.

A fur-lined hammock - I visit to this hotel is in order. Exquisite views of the city.

B&P, Las Vegas can be exhilarating in a big city bright lights way. The new City Center is pretty impressive. I was digging the whole, special armbands, private elevator, security guards nonsense. I felt very VIP.

M.Lane, Las Vegas is such an interesting capsule of humanity from flip flow wearing, booze swigging, tatooed tourists on the Strip to the uber sleek of the penthouse suites. If you couldn't guess, I prefer the suite life to the street life!

FAF, yes the views were incredible with lights for miles in every direction.

TWOSP, considering all of the fancy folks at the party, I didn't think that it would have been appropriate for me to climb into the hammock!

I hope JR was a good thing. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. I think I did a post about fur lined hammocks. That one building looks like a sparkling jewel. Beautiful!

Holy cow, I didn't realize there were buildings that tall there now either! After having to make 3-5 trips every year when doing the corporate thing in my previous life, I don't miss it for the most part, but still think it is a unique place with a remarkable culture. And some decent shopping as well, depending on what you are looking for.

Glad you have had a decent trip Miss BHB, but couldn't agree more about the trade show exhaustion level discussed in your previous post.

Wow! That looks great!

I know someone who has a fur hammock... check this out. They're fox fur and cashmere and retailed at $9000

Apparently they do a single one now too! They look amazing but I don't like real fur xx
