because gold is good
and French History is interesting
why not combine the two with these
French Antique Gold Coin Cuff Links
These cufflinks feature antique Turn of the Century French 20 Centime gold coins from 1904 and 1905, respectively. The front is marked by the famed female profile of Marianne the symbol of France, crowned with laurels, and the words "Republique Francaise." and the reverse has the proud rooster of France and the famous "Liberte Egalite Fraternite."

Gorgeous cufflinks x
They are a great idea - when is Fathers day?
Thanks for the link beautiful; but please understand my comments are strictly subjective; plenty of chaps wear cufflinks without ties and jackets/suits. I just find it irritating--and that's my problem, not theirs! :)
Kitco is my homepage!
The cufflinks look fine. Many others too. But my husband hates to were cufflinks, as placing them is too much of a fuss for him. And I understand him. I too avoid jewelry/ clothes/ bags, which are difficult to use. Therefore, I am not interested even in the famous Birkin. It is carried open, as access to the inside of it is difficult, if closed. LOL.
J'adore a man's shirt with French cuffs and cufflinks.
