Karen (California's version of Australia's fabulous Imogen) caught onto the trend quickly and posted about it here
and Pseu showed the look in her Polyvore (with Beladora2 brooch!)
Yep people...it is the jeune homme look and with it comfortable man style shoes like these on The Sart's Garance.
Here is Garance in her flats....doesn't she look comfortable?
and give the 6 inch heels a rest?

Flats are so chic ~ great photo!

Those shoes only work if you have stellar ankles. I mean, one look at Whitney Port is enough for me to save my money and stick with ballet flats.
It's always easier to pull of masculine looks when you're built like a 12 year old boy. I still can't even find a button-up shirt that fits, so I'll leave the pretty boy, gamine look to the waifs, thank you very much.
love those lace-ups! xx
Beautiful lace-ups; great colour!
Kpeach and fashionblogger...welcome to BHB. Thanks for your comments.
it's so funny that you mentioned the 6 inch heels. My husband just asked me if men are designing these shoes because they are ridiculous to walk in.

oh I had this issue on the weekend, so over the pain of heels!
Great blog!
Noooo....I'm sticking to heels!
lol. I love heels but I LOVE oxfords and lace-ups ...they're the most comfy flats to wear.
Heels are curb to cab shoes or to kept under the desk at work for meetings. I love my flats for running around in.
On another note. It's bothering me to no end that stiletto girl has her ankle straps too tight. She needs to give herself one more notch.
Yes! I'm voting for lower heels :)
I can't even do 4 inches. But 6 inches? I don't even think they are cute or sexy.
