After being banished to wardrobe hell for the last few seasons blazers are finally back
and thank god for that

I also like the way that both Banana Republic and Ann Taylor have shown brooches on the lapels of their blazers and jackets.

ADORE that "Jackie-esque" pearl brooch!! The AT jacket with the portrait collar has jeweled buttons...I've always ben hesitant to add more jewelry onto a garment with jeweled buttons. But maybe they're subtle enough to not compete with that lovely brooch?
Were blazers banished? No one told me! Though I'm not sure of the difference between a blazer and jacket. I would say I wear jackets and have been wearing them for a long time. The great thing is that if you have a crazy jacket, you can wear it with a t-shirt, jeans and heels and look like you've made an effort when you haven't!
