I love John Galliano's haute couture for women.
It is witty and wonderful.
I even kinda liked the clever historical references in his 2009 Menswear Collection.

John Galliano does Paul Revere

John Galliano does Natty Bumppo

John Galliano does Mr. Rochester
and then he brought us this....

and worse...this

And you were worried about
Global Warming, Credit Crisis and Government Spending...
Jesus Christ...after seeing the 2009 Menswear Collections
I'm worried about nothing less than the Decline of Western Civilization!

you know, if you take away, say, the hat, some of that is very wearable. Except of course, the man panties. I hold a very firm anti-tighty whities platform.
I guess that I just had a problem with the red garter belt and stockings...
But that's just me...
I want Rochester!Where were these guys when they were casting "John Adams"?
One if by land, Two if by "must see t.v.!"
I think Galliano is a genius...a mad gay genius.
Galliano is a "costumer" not a fashion designer. Same with McQueen and Westwood.
Ah, but a great costumer he is!
I would love to see his costumes on stage for the LA Opera!
