Vintage Value Venture - Bring on the Bobo!

Let's face it...you're not a Bobo...but sometimes you still like to sport the Bobo look. The original Bobo look started in the late 1960s and early 1970's with the Luxe Hippy Look of socialites like Talitha Getty, all caftans and good jewelry, photographed here with her husband John Paul Getty in Morocco.

Yves St. Laurent was all over this look in his early seventies.
Even the class act of the jewelry world, Cartier, jumped on the Bohemian bandwagon.

This Bobo piece was sold by Cartier in 1972. Crafted in 18K over sterling silver with a textured finish, it is a beautiful period piece that is perfect today as either a belt or around the neck as a serious statement necklace.
