• BULGARI SHARES FALL: Shares in Bulgari SpA fell the most in more than five years on the Milan Bourse Monday.
What's going on with Bvlgari? I thought that Luxe brands, like Christian Dior couture which just had a rise in profits, were recession proof.
Well, apparently not.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Beladora.com can sell this brand new Bvlgari Serpentine ring for $4850 while the current retail price is $8235.
While you can't order Christian Dior couture on the internet, you can buy jewelry online. So who is going to walk into a Bvlgari store and pay full retail if they can get the same item online for more than 40% off?
